Motorcycle Insurance coverage is mandatory in most states. So if you are a resident of those states or financing/leasing your motorcycle, be sure you have insurance coverage.
Most states require you to have mimimum liability coverage. Liability insurance covers other people injured in an accident, but it doesn't cover your own injuries. If you are financing or leasing your motorcycle, your finance company will also require you to have comprehensive and collision coverage.
Comprehensive insurance covers your motorcycle for losses resulting from incidents other than collision. For example, comprehensive insurance covers damage to your motorcycle if it is stolen; or damaged by flood, fire, or animals. It pays to fix your motorcycle minus your deductible.
Collision insurance covers damage to your motorcycle when your motorcycle hits, or is hit by, another vehicle, or some other object. This coverage pays to fix your motorcycle minus the deductible you choose. Coverage is normally limited to the cash value of your motorcycle.
Even if it is not a requirement, we strongly encourage you to get comprehensive and collision coverage which better protects you and your family from financial risks. There are many types of "motorcycles" - from scooters to high-performance sport bikes or even custom choppers. We work with many carriers to get you the best value and the policies that make sure you and your bike are covered fully.
INSURE & RIDE
If you "MotoLease" your bike, we also have a unique policy that provides coverage on your motorcycle regardless of your driving or credit history for a monthly fee that doesn't require a large up-front payment (this coverage does not provide bodily injury and property damage liability insurance and does not comply with any financial responsibility law or any other law mandating motor vehicle insurance coverage). It can be combined with liability insurance to meet the MotoLease and state requirements in a cost-effective way. Please contact our agents toll-free at 877-332-2877 for more details.
